Pirates re-creation. Discussion(civilly)!

Okay, there were once names tossed in the air on the new name for Pirates, the guild-to-be.

Since Pirates is supposedly unable to be made with the same name, because of the guild hackings.

It's been a long year or so for me. Literacy has gone up and down and up and down again, and such.

But that hasn't been on my mind. Literacy was my little family I gathered together. My little... dysfunctional family -- but all families are like that, or should be. It's what makes them interesting and on-going.

And thinking of my past 'families,' I come upon the only guild before the one I created that I really stayed in and made me feel at home: Pirates.

Ah, that was quite a nice thing to hear upon logging in. Or lagging out and re-logging it -- BUT NONETHELESS!

I really want my people back. My family. My friends. J00 GUYZES.

In all honesty, Maple hasn't been the same in the past years. I miss Berry, Cor, Amanda, Josh, Mikey, Tuyen -- all of you that I knew early 2006.

I miss that small group of people that were trying to kill cloks in Ludi and made a video of it, later becoming Pirates of Windia I.

And you know what? If possible, I want that back. I know we are all so differently leveled now. Back then, we were maybe ten levels apart. I know Tuyen and I were 5X and Josh 6X. But now.... ha ha...

I saw Berry the other day. And Mikey. It was nice.

Do you want Pirates re-created? I know I do. But not the whole 100 members thing. That was way too much of a fad.

"I was in there last week."

I like my guilds manageable, and spam free, as well as drama-free. Which, Pirates had its drama in '06, but not nearly as bad as what it became in 2007, thanks to some members.



So I ask of you, beloved friends and fellow Pirates.

Would you help re-making the guild?

Also, kinda off topic but, what guild hacking?

I heard people were getting expelled out of guilds and such.

It was pretty big.

I may not be able to be online as often as I wish, but I still want to do something. Hopefully more RAM will make the game run without all the lag that freezes my game. :/

I'm not really that active, but I would join and log in every week or so and just say hello. ;X

I dunno.


And the guild hack was when someone could join your guild without an invitation,
and become Leader without consult, or anything, and kick everyone out of your guild.
You can't recreate your guild either because since it wasn't disbanded through the guild area,
it's still registered in the database.

Yeah, I probably won't be on a lot. I'm applying for a job at Old Navy and I'll be going to college soon, hopefully in the fall.

I really don't want to be in a guild that's whiney because no one logs in every single day. ; lolliteracy.

Me and Cody were discussing this, and why can't we just use Literacy?

It's convenient, and with proper cleaning up of inactive members, plus a few mil thrown together, we could probably revive Literacy.

So what if the name doesn't exactly apply to everyone,
it's the people who matter! :]

I thought Rebirth was a big guild. Maybe that's in Mardia.

But I'm pretty sure that name is taken.
