Log-in problems

Trying to log into an account that hasn't been used in a very long time, but MapleStory freezes whenever I type the right password in. (It doesn't freeze if I type in an incorrect password)

Does anyone know how to fix this, or what's wrong?

hmmm this one is kind of tricky.. do you have a different computer you can try it on?

was this pre- pin id number

alot of times if I were to log onto different accounts that I havent been on in awhile it pauses for a few seconds while pulling up the end user agreement.. and then makes me agree and choose a pin.. maybe the new patch isnt liking the password.. could be tons of things...

I'd recommend that you try the pass on a different computer. then you will know whether it's your version of maple. or a problem with nexon.

I've tried it on two computers.
It's after entering the password, but before the PIN thing pops up. It freezes, doesn't unfreeze, then exits because I've spent too much time at the log-in screen. I can't even alt-tab from it.

Anyway, an RL friend of mine who got banned for hacking was unbanned on the 2nd, and he told me he had the same problem. But the owner of this account doesn't hack, and it wasn't like he got banned at any time (I check for his chars on the rankings from time to time), and I don't have hacks myself.

Try emailing Nexon about it. They will most likely request your account info to verify who you are (do it from the same email you made the account with, I think that works better). If its something they can fix on their end, they actually do try to help. My friend's have had similar issues resolved in the past.

Ah... well, that changes things. And when I think about it, Nexon may actually -require- that emails about accounts be sent from the same email the account was made with, for security reasons... In which case, my suggestion goes out the window unless you have access to his email. o.o;
