Nevermind.. Nexon claimed it to be an error..
Later..
I have a feeling about GMS actually was willing to cut off European players so they'd move to EMS. Unfortunately, there was a great outrage about it and they probably tried to cover it with the "technical difficulty".
GG Nexon.

Yes they did.~ Hurray!
But I downloaded EMS yesterday and picked a channel. There were like, 10 peoples at the default spawn point yelling at Nexon, rofl.
And EMS also lags less, of what I've found out. D: I loot faster there.

What actually happened is that they tried to stop all new European players from registering for GMS, meaning all new players would be forced to EMS. But Nexon, just being Nexon, they did what they usually do when trying something new: Screw it up horribly, and accidentally banned off the whole set of European players.
[Offtopic a bit] My issue was resolved, the manual patcher and the client installer weren't updated when the patch was released, meaning at that moment the manual patch and installers both were still for version .40 Rather frustrating, because they haven't been this slow on updating the manual patch before. The slowdown here is likely due to the European problem being a bigger priority.
... By the way, once you agreed to Nexon's ToS, you pretty much signed away any right to sue for being banned. They stated, in less-obvious words, that they reserve the right to ban for any reason they see fit, be you a NX user or not. Even if they did suddenly decide that all European users would no longer be allowed on GMS, they'd still be within the rights that you agreed to give them. Gotta read the fine print... I'm not saying I agree with them, I'm not really even trying to justify them... But from a legal point of view, there's little anyone would be able to do. Their ToS, which we all had to agree to before even registering, is what would ultimately hold the most ground in a courtroom. They only real right we would have, is the right to boycott the game in protest if we disagree. :/

They didn't ban accounts. They just blocked people trying to login. A big difference between the two. ;]

Actually, the blocking was based on IP. If you had a foreign IP, you were unable to log in regardless of what account you had.
