Last post from me on the sleepywood forums:
This stone throwing match isnt getting any better.
We'll take this all back to basics. It would be convenient for those of you who said earlier that using items attained by hackers is widely accepted as something that retains your status as legit. The truth is we get into a huge topical argument on purity. purity in legitimacy. The fact of the matter is that you can not overlook the fact that items gained by hackers through illegitimate means, are illegitimate (impure). If you use these items (even in naivity) that makes you illegitimate as well, not by your own fault, but just the same its not legit. You benefit from something impure. That point is valid. End of story. I can not come to you and tell you that I know for a fact that I am 100% legit. The only thing I can tell you is that I have not taken an active part in being illegit by hacking, if in fact some of the items I may have used were attained by hackers. There is really no way for me to know unless I was present at the gaining of all of the items I purchased. If I have made this clear, we should all come to an agreement on Jing. He has done nothing actively on his part to be illegit. Therefore do not discredit the person behind the character. Discredit the people responsible.
As for Pirates. I would take much more pride in the fact that we all stick together, and actively try to keep the guild legit, and ourselves legit as best we can. If the whole point of this thread being started by, once again, someone who talks like all the noobs we despise oh so much in the game, then he was a clever individual. Last time I checked we, as windians, didnt listen to people who talked like that. Its sad that if given an opportunity to bash another guild, we will listen to someone who is to no degree capable of a literate conversation. If you dont know what Im talking about, go to page 1 post 1, and read what is written. This can probably go down in windian history as being the largest controversy ever started by someone who can barely speak english.
If the rest of you were trying to get Pirates to destroy itself from the inside out, you've done a fantastic job pounding away at people until they started doing so. Pirates is ripping itself to pieces right now over this. Unity is certainly not something we can at this point say we pride ourselves on. For a final point, we will take this to the fundamentals of language as a whole. Words are ambiguous. When Jing claims his guild to be legit, you need to go to him and ask him what he defines that as. If we have people in the guild that are currently hacking, we support hackers. If we have people in the guild that are ex-hackers, then we support ex-hackers. Truth is, we've had at least the second one as truth. Therefore we support ex-hackers, and our reason behind it is that we hold to friendships. (which we are not doing well now at all) I left the guild a few moments ago because of how ugly it really has gotten between everyone, its not a pretty sight, friends tearing each other up because of past mistakes, and what not all for the sake of a purity that really is a concept that has no certainty to it at all. I hope Pirates can get its act together and turn back to something we can with certainty pride ourselves on, and that is unity. Right now, we have none.
Thats all I have to say on this matter, and all I will have to say. Rob out.

Its all there kids. If you want Rob to be a part of Pirates again, we're going to all have to decide where we stand. I, for one, took pride in that we always did what we could to keep our pirates in pirates. Since this is no longer the case, I dont have the same sense of pride. We've fallen victim to what others think of us, rather than what we think of ourselves.
