Why do you wake up each morning?

I wake up because I'd get yelled at if I don't.
I live for the day that I die. I don't stop living because I'm a coward - afraid of pain, afraid of what punishment might come if I just ran away forever.

I wake up because I know I was Created with a purpose, and so far, I've come to discover that dedicating my actions to that Creator are really what life is worth living for. To know somebody can totally love you beyond anything you've ever done wrong, and that they died just so you wouldn't have to live with that pain..... That's why I live. Because Jesus died so that I could live.

Call me religious or not but life is like a clock, and the fact that God is real makes it keep ticking. I don't call my relationship with god "religion". I call it Love. Because you can't totally understand it, because if you could understand it all, then what would be the point of God? I'll leave that up to you. Without God, I wouldn't be here, not just because he created me, but without Him, I'd have no reason to live.

I'd suggest you read the Bible... preferably the Book of John, first. ;P

Long story short, God gave the Virgin Mary a baby, before she ever got it on with anybody, so that the combination of two sinners or something wouldn't, how would I say... "stain" the baby with sin(anything wrong or against the will and law of God).... So she had the baby, he grows up, and NEVER sins even once.... Never lied, cheated, stole, killed, etc, and continued to be "The Son of God" all the way till the point where Judas, one of his 12 disciples betrayed Jesus over to the Jewish leaders for money. Once they took him into custody, they began to beat him and kill him slowly, ultimately putting him on the cross, simply because they didn't like him. And he never did one wrong thing to deserve the pain and suffering that they put him through. But the reason he kept going through it was for me and you. He died so we wouldn't have to. Since the penalty for sin was death, He took the sin upon Himself, being pure, so that all who believed in Him could be freed from the burden of Sin.

He died on the cross and on the 3rd day, came back to life, and shortly spent time with his disciples before the Bible says "he ascended upon a cloud unto Heaven". And will return again sometime soon, which we're not really sure, but it could be now, or later, or who knows when.

Anyways like I said, read John, to have a better understanding.
