Once you get banned, despite the reason, you're off the rankings forever.
[This means temp bans also.]
Although, recently, I think everyone noticed this a few days ago, we rose up a lot of ranks when we logged in, in the morning. They were just removing hackers from the rankings but not banning them for some crazy reason so that's explaining the big rank increase.
