Business Week magazine is going to do an article on Nexon of America and Maple Story.
They publish it Friday, and it is supposedly in circulation this weekend.
I was contacted via myspace, then in-game by Joe, the head of the Public Relations for Nexon of America, on an account and his Game Master character, and told about a project they are working on. He said he needed people that were up to the task of this type of interview. Business Week magazine is a great company and highly subscribed to. Nexon did well on getting another article on them in it.
As I was saying, I was selected to be in a running of sorts to be interviewed by the Business Week people. I talked to Joe on myspace and Maple, and then I talked to another Public Relations person, Hillary on the phone. She questioned me like Joe did in an email and then forwarded my info again to the Business Week people. Then, a little while later, I talked to one of the writers for about 20 minutes on the phone and she questioned me on the game, characteristics of it, the money I spend on it, my friends, what I think of it, and many things. She said she will probably use my info in the magazine.
And, some of the select few who are chosen will supposedly have Business Week people fly to their town and interview them in-person! I just may have them interview me, it depends if I'm selected or not, but the writer for BW said, "You are indeed one of the main interviews for the story, which I’m writing at this moment." So, I just may be interviewed and in that magazine. ;D But, tehn again, I doubt it. but, my info I said on the phone and emails to the person from BW will probably be used in the article.
I plan on getting a magazine if I can, wether or not I am in the magazine or not, I just want to see what they put on Nexon of America in it.
The topic was Virtual World, and Sony, Nexon, and some other company or two are going to be featured in it.
So, yeah. Plan on looking for that, kthx. =]
